   So hopefully you have had your puppy to puppy preschool and to obedience classes for socilaisation. This will help your pup to grow up knowing it has to work when there are distracions around. Now is the time to find the first seasons truffles and get your pups nose into the ground. The best way to train your dog or pup is with a real truffle. They learn quicker with the real smell. But inbetween real truffles keep using truffle oil on their toys and play each day. Spend as much time with your dog as you can, even if it is dark when you get home, sit and play with it, because the play is also a learning time. Now after 2 weeks your pup should be sitting, comming to it's name and know the smell of truffles, it should be able to put it's nose on the truffle and show lots of interest. With-in another 2 weeks it should be able to show you where the truffle is, it won't pin point the exact spot for you and it might only hunt around 1 or two trees before it loses interest but it is a start. Concerntrate on the obedience every day.
