Membership fees for the year 2010 (1 January to 31 December) are now due for renewal and must be paid by 31 March 2010. The Association is also seeking to attract bona fide truffle farmers and other parties interested in nurturing the industry in Australia. New members joining should print out, complete and sign the form Truffle Growers Association Membership Form and forward it to the Secretary of the Association (see below). Existing members can renew online by paying below and then completing the online Membership Renewal page.

For information, there are two classes of membership to the Association, as follows:

Full Membership – Includes bona fide Truffle Farmers, having more than 100 trees and and Truffle Exporters, having exported more than 5 kilograms of truffles, entitling them to full and normal privileges of membership including voting rights on issues and the election to the Executive Committee.

Associate Membership – Includes any person or any company or other organization, who intends to establish a truffle farm, or anyone who has a genuine interest in supporting and nurturing the industry. Associate members may become Full Members if they meet the criteria for membership (owning more than 100 trees or exporting more than 5 kilograms of truffle). While Associate members will be welcome at any Association function, they will not have any voting rights on issues raised at any meeting of the Association nor shall such Associate member be entitled to stand for or become a member of the Executive Committee.

The Association’s Executive will consider all applications for membership. If the Applicant is a Partnership recognized by the Association, each Partner shall join in the signing of the application and a single membership fee is payable. The Applicant may be a Company or any other body corporate, in which case an Officer of such Company or other body corporate shall make the application.
Applications for membership, accompanied by the annual subscription of A$200 (for either class of membership), should be made in writing on the attached form. The Executive will complete the seconding signatures for forms.
