A Tour of Some NZ Truffieres?

Posted by wayne on June 23rd, 2009

For those of you off to NZ for a break, or looking for something different, why not consider the pleasure of a truffle tour to some of New Zealand’s truffle plantations during the harvest season. The trip is being organised and accompanied by the leading NZ truffle specialist, Dr Ian Hall and runs from 20 to 25 July, beginning immediately after the New Zealand Truffle Association’s annual meeting, being held in Christchurch on June 18 and 19 July. The cost is currently estimated at NZ$2200 (about A$1800), per person, inclusive of the flight between the South and North Islands, meals, accommodation, and transport. Couples sharing accommodation can save about A$600. For more detail, maps, bookings and final costs, please contact the organiser, Truffle and Mushrooms (Consulting) Ltd.
